Coyote Springs, which are adjacent to Halcyon Hot Springs and overlook Arrow Lake, have a number of appealing features, including beautiful surroundings and looser regulations than those at most developed resorts. However, no cool water is added, so the springs are extremely hot (it’s possible that this has changed since we visited, though I couldn’t find any information about the temperature online). We were unable to get in much beyond our knees and ended up just enjoying some beer by the poolside. Still a great spot though, away from other busier, more crowded springs.
You can rent a little cabin at the Coyote Hot Springs site and have your own private hot springs pool. The owner provides various specialized healing massage therapies by appointment.
